VeloMetro Mobility was one of 40 clean technology companies featured at the first annual Greater Vancouver Clean Technology Expo and Championship in Surrey, BC, on January 28, 2015. The focus of the event was to raise awareness for local companies focusing on sustainable technologies and offer a $10,000 competition prize to the company that successfully made the most compelling presentation.
VeloMetro at the City Hall Plaza
Over 50 event attendees had the chance to take the alpha prototype of VeloMetro’s Veemo™ for a test ride on the plaza at Surrey City Hall. VeloMetro’s senior management and engineering teams had the opportunity to introduce the Veemo concept to staff members from local municipalities and the province of British Columbia as well as federal government employees and potential investors. The alpha prototype VeloCar was very well-received and generated a lot of enthusiasm and excitement.
VeloMetro will continue to seek opportunities to demonstrate its VeloCar technology to the public in an effort to raise awareness and build momentum.
