VeloMetro Mobility Inc. has been chosen to present at VERGE San Francisco, a conference on how technology accelerates sustainability solutions across industries and sectors. VeloMetro is focused on developing a 21st century Veemo™ for urban personal transportation. It was one of 21 companies selected to submit a 60-second video pitch about the real-world challenge they seek to address and successfully attained enough votes from the VERGE community to finish the competition in the top three. The VERGE San Francisco conference is taking place from October 27-30, 2014. VeloMetro will present on Tuesday, October 28.
“We are very pleased to have the opportunity to present at VERGE San Francisco,” said John Stonier, Co-Founder and CEO of VeloMetro. “This is an opportunity for us to present our Veemo™ and sharing service to an audience of 1,000 top executives, angel investors, and progressive public officials. I like to think that innovation developed in Vancouver can be a hit in San Francisco, a global centre of technological innovation.”
VeloMetro’s 60-second video pitch can be found on the VERGE website. VeloMetro plans to introduce their vehicle to the urban transportation market through a sharing service that will begin pilot trials in Vancouver, BC in 2015.
